About

Martin RudowMartin and his father, Hal attended almost every race in the Pacific Northwest from 1956 through 1961. His personal heroes where drivers like Pete Lovely, Ray Rairdon, Dave Tatom, Tom Meehan and others. They provided the personal anecdotes for Martin Rudow's outstanding northwest racing history book "Long Straights and Hairpin Turns".

After the success of this beautifully produced book (now sold out), it become apparent that a second volume, covering the years 1962 through 1970 was required. These where the years when more races went on within a 200 mile radius of Seattle than in any similar part of the country. This new book is aptly titled "Weekends of Glory".

Just as “Weekends” covers the great older days of racing, the quarterly Vintage Drift Magazine covers today’s vintage car racing.
